Successful completion of this course results in nationally recognised Unit of Competency CPCWHS1001 – Prepare to work safely in the construction industry.

Successful candidates will also receive a Statement of Training (SOT) CPCWHS1001 Prepare to work safely in the construction industry and a General Induction Training Card (“White Card”) by SafeWork NSW.

You must first complete general construction induction training with a Registered Training Organisation (RTO).

You will need to provide the trainer with 100 points of ID.

A person must be at least 14 years of age to participate in the training.

    CTPM will have the application forms you need for a new card and will submit them to us when you have completed the training.

    CTPM will also give you a statement that you can use to prove you have completed the training until your new card arrives. The statement is valid for 60 days but most cards are issued in less than 30 days.

      It is a requirement that everyone working on a building site in Australia or works in some jobs that has certain levels of requirements towards safety, to hold a Construction Induction Card, now known as a ‘White Card’. Successful completion of this course will allow you to work on a building sites or roads in Australia.

      To participate in this course:

      • You must be at least 14 years of age to commence the course
      • Have a thorough understanding of both written and spoken English
      • Have 100 Points of ID (see ID requirements)
      • Must wear closed shoes (no thongs or sandals allowed)

      You must arrive 15 minutes before the scheduled start time for registration and ID check. All courses close for entry 30 minutes after the scheduled start time. If you are more than 30 minutes late you will not be admitted and fee apply. See terms and conditions.

      How much does it cost?

      Cost $85. An additional $25 is payable at the completion of your course for processing of your actual white card. (This is a fee that SafeWork NSW charges and not CTPM).

      If you have met the SafeWork NSW identification requirements and the course requirements then you will be issued with a SafeWork NSW Statement of Training at the end of the day. This numbered Certificate is your official White Card until SafeWork NSW send out your plastic wallet sized card to the address you provide.

      This certificate is accepted all over Australia.
